Tropical Houseplants

Originally our speciality, we are now the largest supplier of tropical houseplants to Interior landscapers in the UK. All are bought direct from key growers in Holland & Belgium, and then exported direct to our customers (min order 1 dutch trolley). Our smaller customers can use our Cash & Carry facility to the west of London.

We pride ourselves on our quality control, attention to detail and always being first to introduce new plants to the market – see our special offers and news section for updates.

The plants pictured here represent some of the most widely bought products. Please be aware that we can source and supply any plant currently in production – just contact us with your requirements or for a price list.

Exterior Italian Specimens

Working in association with our Italian partners, Innocenti Fidelio, we currently hold nearly an acre of Italian stock at our Cash & Carry facility. Stock includes a substantial selection of topiary items between 1.5 and 2m tall, including half standards, standards, spirals, pyramids etc all very suitable for container planting.

In addition, you will find most common shrubs and trees in sizes up to 5m, we can of course purchase to order any plant in the entire selection from our Italian growers – usually for delivery within 7 -10 days.

We also offer a full sourcing service for special projects in Italy and for bulk buys can deliver to you direct from the Italian nurseries at very keen prices. Artificial Plants

Clarke & Spears is delighted to launch a new and totally exclusive range of artificial plants which are not available from any other UK source. Many are hand built to order by highly experienced plant 'artists' who strive to make every plant look as close to the real thing as it is possible to be. To this end we only use natural tropical wood for our hand built range, and wherever possible the wood from the plant we are recreating. This is particularly effective where feature stems are required such as Ficus braids. No other manufacturer adopts this policy and as a result we believe that the HB range is truly the best quality on the market today.

Artificial plants of this pedigree cannot compete at the discount end of the market but where only the best will do we are confident you will be delighted with your purchase. Trees of almost any size can also be supplied to order, again with natural tropical trunks - please contact the sales office for a quotation.
